Kanye West has donated $2 million to support the families of George Floyd (opens in new tab), Breanna Taylor (opens in new tab), and Ahmoud Arberry (opens in new tab), CNN reported (opens in new tab). West also established a fund to cover all college tuition for Floyd's 6-year-old daughter, Gianna, and according to TMZ (opens in new tab), he made another donation to cover all legal expenses for Taylor and Arberry's family. Protests across the country continued into the 10th night after the killing of George Floyd by white police officer Derek Chauvin (opens in new tab) sparked a national and global outcry.

Protesters also demanded justice for Breona Taylor (open in new tab), who was shot and killed by police officers Jonathan Mattingly, Brett Hankison, and Myles Cosgrove in her home in March; two white men, Gregory and Ahmoud Arberry, murdered by Travis McMichael (opens in new tab); Tony McDade, shot and killed by an unnamed police officer last week (opens in new tab); and countless other black victims of police brutality and anti-black racism.
