Archie Harrison, son of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, said four words for the first time.

[Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's son, Archie Harrison (opens in new tab), has started talking. A royal source told Us Weekly (opens in new tab), "He says a few words, like 'dada,' 'mommy,' 'books,' and 'dog.'" In addition, the insider shared some of the little royal's favorite pastimes: "He loves hide-and-seek and building blocks. Again, very cute.

As first words, "mama" and "dada" need little explanation, but "book" and "dog" mean a lot to baby Archie. It is clear that reading is a favorite activity in the Sussex household, as indicated by Archie's first birthday video (opens in new tab) of Princess Meghan reading Duck to her son! Rabbit! The Sussex family baby is already a pro at turning the pages of books, the video reveals.

As for the "dogs": Archie reportedly adores the family's two dogs, Guy the beagle and a black Labrador whose name the Sussex's have not revealed. On his first birthday (opens in new tab), which came during quarantine, he spent time playing with the royal puppies, enjoying his first birthday cake (a smash cake made by Princess Meghan (opens in new tab)), and meeting friends and relatives on Zoom. The dogs are his "best friends," one insider told People, adding, "They make him laugh and be kind." Again: cute!
