Prince William gives a glimpse of the surprisingly bold decor of Anmer Hall.

Prince William and Kate Middleton's country home, Anmer Hall (opens in new tab), is open to the public like never before during the coronavirus outbreak as the Cambridges are sealed off for their royal engagement indoors. Hello!" (opens in new tab) reports, the couple has opted for fairly subdued decor in most of the rooms open to the public, painting the walls cream, white, and sage green and keeping the wall hangings small and unassuming.

However, in two recent video calls discussing mental health in sports, William spoke from a previously undisclosed room, which was decorated in a much bolder manner. In contrast to the other rooms in Ammer Hall, the walls are painted a deep forest green, the furnishings are dark wood, and magnificent gold-trimmed paintings hang on the walls.

William first spoke about mental health in sports to members of the Arsenal Soccer Club, including players Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ector Bellerin, and then soccer player Alex Scott and swimmer Ellie Simmonds, He discussed the subject with a wide range of British sporting legends.

"Through the Heads Up campaign, the soccer community has united to play a role in promoting lasting change by encouraging people to be open about their mental wellbeing, as well as embedding a culture of mental health across the sport." William said, reports the Independent (opens in new tab). I believe there is more we can do collectively to ensure that this is replicated in all sports."

"We have a unique opportunity to use the tragedy of the pandemic to effect positive change," continued the Duke of Cambridge.

"As the sporting world begins to revive itself, it is imperative that we talk about the mental wellbeing of our athletes and fans."
