Jennifer Aniston posted a very sweet birthday tribute to her friend and companion Courteney Cox, who turned 56 on Monday, June 15. Aniston was just a little late to the Instagram tribute she shared on Tuesday, but what she lacked in posting punctuality, she definitely made up for in cuteness.

Last year, Cox celebrated her birthday with Aniston and Lisa Kudrow (open in new tab). I love those girls. I love them so much." But alas! In the age of coronavirus, an Instagram tribute (and perhaps a group zoom) is the most one can do.

On Monday, Cox posted a slow-motion bikini video in honor of her birthday. In the video, Cox runs to the edge of the pool in a black bikini, dives in, and looks every inch the professional.

The next day, Aniston posted a series of sweet photos on her Instagram Story, paying tribute to Cox, captioning the first, "Happy birthday to this amazing human being," and the second, "Love you, CC."

Next, she shared a photo of Cox with a gently angry expression and wrote, "Sorry I'm late."
