Kristen Wiig and fiancé Avi Rothman have twins.

Kristen Wiig is now a mom of twins! Wig and fiancée Avi Rothman had twins via surrogate earlier this year, People reports (opens in new tab). Congratulations to!

Wig hinted about becoming a mom when she hosted "Saturday Night Live's" Mother's Day show (isolated edition) in May. She said, "Unfortunately, like probably a lot of you, I won't be able to be with my mom this Mother's Day. So I hope that's ok, but I just want to tell my mom that I love her."

"Lately I've been thinking, I don't know if I've really appreciated my mother in the 45 years since I was born. But this year I am especially thankful for my mother's advice and love. I'm thankful for everything my mother taught me to prepare me to be a mother," Wig continued. 'Things like breastfeeding,' she said, holding up a plate of chicken breasts." The baby loves that chicken, she always said."

According to People, Wig and Rothman became engaged in 2019 (and also managed to stop the news from hitting the papers until months later.) They first began dating in 2016 and were photographed kissing on the Hawaiian island of Kauai later that year. Rothman is a writer, director, actor, and producer, and both he and Wig are alumni of the famed Los Angeles theater Groundlings. Let me predict: Wig and Rothman's children will be very, very talented.
