Meghan Seastarion Honors Father on Father's Day, Shares Sweet Childhood Memories

Meghan Seastallion posted an adorable childhood photo with her late father on Sunday in celebration of Father's Day. She called her father, who died when she was a teenager, "the best dad in the world, my first best friend, and my partner when my mom fussed over us."

"He died when I was 15, but I still apply all the lessons he taught me as a little girl to my life to this day!" Megan wrote. I miss you every day."

Earlier this year, Megan spoke to Marie Claire (opens in new tab) about what she learned from her late parents. Her devoted father taught her important lessons about relationships, she said. 'I saw how my father treated my mother and how he treated me,' she said. 'I've had a lot of strong positive influences. I'm not going to lower my standards.'

Megan's late mother, Holly Thomas, rapped under the name Holly Wood and juggled her music career with working in bill collection. (Thomas passed away in March 2019 from a brain tumor.) Megan inherited Thomas' drive and unwavering work ethic, and according to Selim Buab, A&R executive at 300 Entertainment, she refused to stop working after losing both her mother and great-grandmother. 'I used to see her working on her manuscripts after work and before work,' Megan said of her mother. 'I'm used to seeing her work that way.'
