During the pandemic, I was able to sleep a little later, usually getting up at 6:30 AM.
I spend half an hour getting ready. I'm pretty busy these days, so I try to keep my skin care routine as simple as possible. I'm always trying different products, but I stick to the routine: exfoliate, tone, and moisturize daily, apply serum 2-3 times a week, and do a mask once a week.
My thick hair. I have a lot of hair. When I was on TV, people thought I was using extensions or a special shampoo to make my hair thick and shiny. I buy whatever I want at the drugstore and make sure I use plenty of conditioner. I am blessed with the hair gene. [During the pandemic, I try to condition my hair to account for the fact that it is growing out! I usually straighten my ends and lift with Oribe's Dry Texturizing Spray (opens in new tab).
Coffee and bagels with light cream cheese and pomegranate seeds.
Good lighting. Early in the video interview, I bought a ring light that the influencer used. Also, place the video camera at eye level. I can't tell you how many Zoom meetings I've attended!
Audrey Hepburn
Too many to list.

My killer baking skills.
I think every kid in the 80's wanted to be an astronaut.
A huge advocate for mental health and wellness. Journal as much as you can each day, and anytime you feel your energy is low, make a list of 10 things you are grateful for. Doing so will help you appreciate the present and relax. I am not thinking about wellness any differently (while in isolation), but I am setting aside more time for it. At a time when the world seems to be falling apart, it's important to stay positive and forward-thinking.
Lately I've been working out at my home gym around 8 p.m. I recently bought a squat machine called the DB Method (opens in new tab). I had back surgery a few years ago, so I can't squat very well, but this machine has been very helpful in toning my lower body.
Massage
I learned from a TV makeup artist that if you feel a pimple coming on, apply Tend Skin (opens in new tab) and it will almost disappear overnight.
Say goodnight to my boys.
