Kardashian showed off this new shade on her Instagram story, contrasting it with a neon orange crop top. She wrote: "Guys, I dyed my hair red. Everybody dyed their hair red.

Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton shared a video on Instagram, suggesting that he is responsible for Kardashian's new look, and he confirmed that the color is permanent, writing, "Before you start that shit, it's not a wig."

Kardashian has been a redhead before: as Allure reports, she was photographed leaving a Hollywood photo shoot in bright red waves in February 2019 and posted a video of her new color on her Instagram story around the same time. However, she was never spotted with red hair again, so it is likely that the bright shade was just a wig for the photo shoot.

As for when the transformation took place, Kardashian recently posted a series of photos on Instagram and Twitter celebrating her daughter North's seventh birthday at the family ranch in Wyoming. Kardashian's dark brown hair in the following photos suggests that her red hair is a very recent change.
