Net-a-Porter Creates Best in Beauty "Hall of Fame"
From miracle serums, transformative eye creams, and refreshing cleansers to amazingly effective masks and face tools, a one-stop shop for the world's most coveted luxury beauty products in one curated destination Imagine: On Monday, June 6, luxury retailer Net-a-Porter unveiled its first "Beauty Hall of Fame" (opens in new tab), comprised of the top-rated beauty must-haves on the market. Featuring an all-star lineup of over 200 items from cult brands such as La Mer, NuFace, Dr. Barbara Sturm, Tata Harper, etc.
Net-a-Porter created its first Hall of Fame list based on the most popular products on the site, and Net-a-Porter's Global Beauty Director, Newby Hands, described the compilation as a compilation of the most tried and trusted products She explained. In a statement, Hands explained, "There are a few products that stand out from the crowd and our overcrowded bathroom shelves because they work well, are a pleasure for us, and deliver tangible results."
The retailer's "Beauty Hall of Fame" campaign came at a time when beauty sales continued to grow in the wake of the COVID-19 stay at home (open in new tab) and salon shutdowns. During this time, self-care is top of mind for many, which leads to more diligence in beauty, skin care, and wellness routines. Hands added, "We're seeing a lot of change from candles and bath oils to women who are very busy in the bathroom and very active in their skin care."
