The formula is a hybrid of a CC cream, a protective veil, and a daytime moisturizer all packed into one powerful bottle. Following the success of the Barcelona-based brand's original Diamond Cocoon Day Cream, natural pigments were added to the proprietary polymer blend. These natural pigments form a cocoon that protects the skin from environmental attacks such as blue light, pollution, and heavy metals. This tinted version also contains hyaluronic acid and peony to enhance moisture while brightening the complexion.

Tinted moisturizers have never really done it for me. When I test them, I notice that by mid-afternoon it has already melted away to expose the reddish dry spot under my nose, leaving my cream blush and bronzer laying bare over the visible pores.
