Bulgari Appoints Ambush Designer Yoon Ahn for Brilliant Collaboration

When Bulgari was in the planning stages of its latest collection, it turned to maverick designer Yoon Ahn. Co-founder of the Tokyo-based Ambush label, Yoon Ahn was initially known for his heavy gold jewelry and "POW" pieces worn by Kanye West and Asap Rocky. Today, Ann not only runs her own brand, but also serves as jewelry director for Dior Homme. For a historic brand like Bulgari, Anne's streetwear credentials are the perfect counterpoint. One as an iconic jewelry house, the other as a steadfast creative, both with wide-ranging influence.

Asked about her capsule collection with Bulgari, Anne replied, "I wanted to express Serpenti's bold, contemporary character. The snake is a mysterious and fascinating creature found in nature, but at Bulgari it has also become a symbol of ever-evolving glamour. It is a fusion of natural beauty and human creation, all guided by a contemporary aesthetic."

The capsule collection includes bags, coin purses, wallets, and a new bracelet. The digital campaign features Bella Hadid, Zio Wen, and Ellen Rosa, and was shot by Tyler Mitchell, who created Beyonce's famous Vogue cover. (opens in new tab)
