Rebecca Minkoff and 24 Hours of Self-Care
Brooklyn-based fashion designer, entrepreneur, and activist Rebecca Minkoff (opens in new tab) has always put women first. Through her fashion line, the Female Founder Collective (opens in new tab), a network of women supporting women-owned businesses launched in 2018, and now her new namesake perfume, a divinely feminine scent, ladylike It is housed in a refillable bottle. It's coffee, a hint of fragrance, and patience.
I like to sleep nine hours, usually seven. Then coffee. I enjoy it with heavy cream. I work out every morning for 45 minutes to an hour. I run or bike, and then I always do weight training. I try to take lots of vitamins to boost my immune system. I also try to get as much fresh air and exercise as possible.
My signature look is minimalist and clean. My skincare routine consists of Joanna Vargas, Sunday Riley, and Wonder Beauty. My signature scent is a new fragrance (opens in new tab)! I know how important fragrances are and how they create memories. I wanted to offer this fragrance to our clients as another memorable celebration. This scent is special to me because it has notes of tobacco, jasmine, and coriander, and is subtle enough to be used for any occasion, yet surprisingly unique.

I wanted to be able to create my own designs and make my own calls, instead of having someone else dictate the design. So I started my own brand. This is a long road, and it is not something that can be accomplished in a few months, a year, or a few years. There is always a solution and you have to keep doing it to stay alive.

My evening routine consists of taking my vitamins and enjoying Calm (opens in new tab), an anti-stress drink. After washing my face, applying cream, brushing and flossing, I go to sleep. [The last thing I do before bed is] check my cell phone. I realize this is a bad idea.
