Kate Hudson Launches Supplement Line INBLOOM
It goes without saying that Kate Hudson is a Hollywood icon, but anyone who has followed her sideline for years knows that health and wellness is also a veteran passion in the industry; in 2013, she co-founded the much talked about activewear line Fabletics (new tab open in new tab) and stepped into the fitness arena by co-founding the company.
Earlier this month, in a Zoom interview at her cozy home in Aspen, Colorado, Hudson revealed that she had always wanted to create a line like In Bloom. two years in the making, the inspiration for the brand was to create sustainable products that support optimal health and nutrition from the inside out. "I wanted to keep the products affordable," says Hudson, "but I also wanted to use premium plant-based ingredients and environmentally friendly packaging.
She is as holistic in practice as she is in business: Hudson believes in taking a natural approach to daily self-care. "When people ask me about beauty regimens, my answer is always sleep, water, and healthy food. For me, it all starts there. Beauty comes from how you treat your body and how you respect yourself," Hudson said.
The brand's first offering includes five nuanced formulas targeting specific needs such as cognition, skin health, and sleep, starting at $49. She explained, "We wanted to simplify vitamin intake and make it less burdensome for people."
Hudson hopes that the launch of In Bloom will have a ripple effect on the beauty community regarding sustainability. She said, "I really care about what I'm putting out into the world, and my goal in building my business is to lead by example."
