[HBO Wait until you meet the Roy family in Succession. This drama about the millionaire and ruthless Roy family has made mergers and acquisitions look really sexy since it aired on the small screen in 2018. While the first season was a sleeper hit (open in new tab), the second season has been a real treat, with Logan Roy (Brian Cox) and his sneaky cursing, Shiv Roy (Sarah Snooks) and her chic turtlenecks, and Kendall Roy (Jeremy Strong) and his admirable His mischievousness made him internet famous, and he ran amok as a TV heavyweight.

The drama was also a hot property during awards season, winning BAFTAs and Golden Globes for Best Television Series Drama, as well as Emmys for Best Performance by Cox and Kieran Culkin (as Roman Roy). It also received 18 nominations for the 2020 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series.

If you have an HBO subscription, you can stream the show on the digital on-demand services HBO Go and HBO Now. A fairly new service, HBO Max, also offers "Succession" for $14.99 per month. You can also add the HBO package to your existing Hulu (HBO is $14.99/month plus $5.99 for the basic Hulu package) or Amazon Prime Video (HBO is $14.99/month plus $12.99 for the Amazon Prime package) account to access. In addition, individual episodes/seasons can be purchased on Amazon, Youtube, and iTunes for various fees.

Nearly all streaming platforms, including HBO Max, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video, offer completely free trial periods (varying from 7 to 30 days). Given that "Succession" currently has only 20 hours of content, any of these options should give you more than enough time to catch up without being charged. As for when that third season will be available, sadly, no official announcement has yet been made. Cousin Greg, or actor Nicholas Braun, told Esquire (opens in new tab) in August that they were discussing filming season 3 when the pandemic broke out.

"We were definitely talking about it and getting closer," Brown told the magazine. 'But then it got more vague and just kind of drifted along. But I feel like we're getting closer. I think there are a lot of positive things. I think a lot of programs are going to resume, a lot of movies are going to resume filming. It hasn't been a catastrophe. So I think people are really optimistic. Hopefully we can find a way to do it and do it safely."

Showrunner Jesse Armstrong has plans to start shooting again, but don't think it's a sure thing. Armstrong told (opens in new tab) Variety (opens in new tab) that he is "trying to think about starting filming in New York before Christmas," but plans are apparently still "just conversations. He added, "Who knows if that will happen, but at this point that's the plan.

Good luck with that!
