Who is "Bachelorette" contestant Bennett Jordan?

"Bachelorette" spoilers ahead.20 was an interesting year for Bachelorette (opens in new tab). To briefly summarize, Claire Crawley was cast on Bachelorette; COVID-19 suspended production for a few months and her contestants made significant casting changes to make more men age appropriate (open in new tab) (Crawley was 39 and one of the men was was only 23). Crowley's season finally began in August, but she finished about three episodes before she quit the show to (allegedly) join one of the contestants, Dale Moss (opens in new tab). After that. Franchise alum Tayshia Adams (30) was asked to take her place. So now we are speculating about who is more important to Adams' season instead of Crowley's. Phew! And the Bachelorette spoilers have already spotlighted a few men who are particularly relevant to Adams' season, as filming has just wrapped. We don't know how Adams will end yet, but what we do know is that there is one bachelor in particular that is being talked about: Bennett Jordan. Who is he and what do we know about him?

Jordan appears to be one of the new contestants recast for "Crowley" (open in new tab). According to his LinkedIn (opens in new tab), he worked for Whitney Partners as a managing director of wealth management after several years at Citibank. According to the firm's website (opens in new tab), Jordan has a bachelor's degree in public administration from Harvard University, citing Spanish.

He doesn't post a lot on social media, but he does have a sweet post about how much his mother loves Empire:

And his account consists mostly of going to weddings, traveling, and potentially tailgating. And he loves yoga!

Bennett has posted photos of potential wedding dates dating back to 2012 (open in new tab). While not entirely clear, there is this post with him and a female friend from 2017, captioned: "We good. #romance101 #caballos":

She has appeared several times on his profile. Here are some from the previous year:

And here is one that appeared earlier in his feed:

:

However, her last appearance was in 2017, so if there was a relationship, it would have been many years ago at this point.

First of all (lol), secondly, I really love the bachelorette sleuths because they never disappoint. As discovered by Cosmopolitan (opens in new tab), the gist is: 1) Jordan got his phone back fairly late, and the fact that he published it on Instagram again may mean that he is important to Adams' season, 2) he recently cleaned up his Instagram (opens in new tab), unfriended and deleted some posts (interestingly, he is friends with Dale Moss), 3) his Insta bio lists Donut... Just like Adams recently posted donuts on her story (インスタグラムで@bachelor.realiteaによって発見された). Coincidence? Could be! But according to spoilers, it appears he will play a key role in the final round of her season. What that means is yet to be determined.

Also worth noting is that contestants have to be very, very careful not to leak anything on their own account, so this could also just be everyone trying to connect the dots about something innocent. Time will tell.
