Zendaya wears two pieces instead of one on Emmy night
Tonight's 2020 Emmy Awards will be very different, with celebrities swapping in-person interviews for virtual cameos and dressing up at home (open in new tab) instead of stepping onto the red carpet. But the lack of a carpet won't stop the stars from dressing in their finest, and Zendaya is already on her way to the night's Best Dressed award. Her stylist, Lo Roach, took to Instagram to share a snapshot of the first outfit: Zendaya in a Christopher John Rogers Fall 2020 dress. She sparkled in Bulgari jewelry and stood tall in Christian Louboutin heels.
Zendaya had plenty of reason to dress up and celebrate tonight. Namely, she was the star of "Hibike! Euphoria" for her role as Lou Bennett in "Euphoria," for which she was nominated for and won an Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series. She beat out other nominees such as Jennifer Aniston, Olivia Colman, and Sandra Oh.
For the big night, Zendaya spun around a bit in a Christopher John Rogers gown for Lo Loach's Instagram, and when it came time to accept her Emmy trophy, a second stunning Emmy, a custom-made Giorgio Armani Privé gown look.
Here are the Fall 2020 dresses on the runway. (Zendaya wore it better.)
And here is the second outfit she wore when she won Best Actress in a Drama Series. She made history as the youngest recipient of the award for Best Actress in a Drama Series!
