Alisha Baugh on the products she uses for glowing skin
You may know Alisha Boe from her role as Jessica Davis in "13 Reasons Why," but it's hard not to notice the actress' glowing skin and megawatt smile. The self-proclaimed skincare minimalist sat down with Marie Claire for the latest episode of "Masks and Answers," chilling with us and face masks while answering questions about her beauty routine.
In the video, the 23-year-old preps her skin with Bioderma Sensibio H2O (opens in new tab) ($15) before applying Dior's Hydra Life Pores Away Pink Clay Mask ($69), masking her Kick off the session. Clay masks are ideal for removing impurities. Boe claims that she is not a skilled hair and makeup artist and is more of a skin care person.
As for her favorite skincare, Boe cleanses once a day while in quarantine. Her all-time favorite serum is Aesop's Lightweight Facial Hydrating Serum (opens in new tab) ($67), and her favorite SPF is Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen (opens in new tab) ($34). Castor oil (opens in new tab) ($14) is her secret weapon for strong brows, the actress revealed.
Her favorite way to unwind after a long day: taking a bath with a tablespoon of coconut oil. The actress says she feels best when she is in a positive mood: "I feel most beautiful when I am surrounded by people I love and who inspire me," she says in the video.
After removing the mask, the star applies Skin Better's Interfuse Intensive Treatment (open in new tab) ($130) under her eyes, moisturizes her brows with castor oil, taps in her go-to serum, and then applies Dior Capture Total C.E.L.L. Energy Cream (open in new tab) ($110) to seal it all in and finish.
