The last presidential debate was better than the first - at least according to Twitter.

Well, we made it! Barely, but here we are: on Thursday, October 22, the third and final presidential debate took place. As with the first, there were some interesting remarks (read: "Will you shut up, man' (opens in new tab)" by Joe Biden), many conversations about different things, and the classic! -there were a few viral moments.

This time it was a little different. The Commission on Presidential Debates (open in new tab) announced a few days before the third debate that the format of the first debate "deprives voters of the opportunity to learn the candidates' positions on issues."

[8] [9] Mute the microphones!

How it worked: each candidate would have two minutes to answer questions, but unlike the first debate, the opposing candidate's microphone would be muted during these two minutes. However, unlike the first debate, the opposing candidate's microphone was muted for these two minutes! (It reminded me of the time when my siblings fought over a little something and my mother had to intervene.) ) Although, it wasn't as bad as the first, but still... Something was definitely up.

Going out and screaming forever is not always acceptable to our neighbors, so sending desperate tweets into the abyss that is the Twitter timeline seems like the next best option. Ahead, here's what some people thought about this viral moment. You will probably agree with some of the views. (Don't forget to vote (open in new tab) on November 3!!!)
