Who is Dale Moss in Claire Crowley's "Bachelorette" season?

"The Bachelorette" Spoilers ahead for this season. This season may be the most dramatic yet: Taysia Adams has been chosen to replace Claire Crawley (open in new tab) as this season's Bachelorette. Moss and Crawley are still together, happily engaged, and posting very cute snapshots of their life together on Instagram. (Opens in new tab)

The first few episodes of Crawley's season seemed pretty normal - dates, roses, one-on-ones - but it was clear from day one that Moss was the front-runner. (If you watched the first episode, you saw that after Crowley met Moss, she said, "I feel like I just met my husband," and gave him a rose for his first impression.) And in just the second or third episode, her other contestants knew it. So Crowley withdrew to be with Moss, and Adams took over for the rest of the season. Initially, there were conflicting reports; according to sources who spoke to People (opens in new tab), they found a way to chat with each other before the show.

However. According to Reality Steve (opens in new tab), a usually very reliable source, Moss and Crowley never spoke before filming began. Crowley did, however, have a chance to find out about him; RS writes:

And in Crowley's final installment, she reveals that she had never spoken to Moss online before meeting him, but saw a Mother's Day tribute that Moss posted on Instagram. She and Crowley have something in common, having lost their beloved father a few years ago (in Juan Pablo's season, we learned that Crowley's father made a video for her future husband before he passed away). In the last episode, Crawley tells Moss how much his tribute to her mother touched her, even though they had not yet met.

Crawley's fans know how much she adored her late father, and she swears on his grave that she had no contact with Moss until the first night. So, at this point, it seems clear that they were not, and that it was indeed love at first sight, as they both claim.

Moss is a native of South Dakota and played football at South Dakota State University. According to his resume, he played for the Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Chicago Bears, and according to Life & Style (opens in new tab), he "obviously loves working out, sports, and anything involving health and fitness. I'm very picky about what I eat and like to try new healthy things. I also love dogs". (Claire also loves dogs, so much so that her dog came with her to the mansion, which is perfect.) According to his Instagram, he is a Global Ambassador for Special Olympics, and according to his website, he also does other charitable work.

There are more pictures on his website (opens in new tab), but this guy is gorgeous. He has modeled for Hugo Boss, Grey Goose, and John Varvatos, among others. Moss' Instagram is private (open in new tab), but he already has 120,000 followers (this number will definitely grow). He calls himself an "entertainment host and media personality," and in addition to modeling, he "works for global brands such as Under Armour, Hugo Boss, Express, and United Airlines, as well as media outlets such as Vayner Media & One37pm. executive producing and creative direction."

He has also appeared at movie after parties and NYFW:

Moss dated golfer Seema Sadekar (opens in new tab) before coming to the show. A source who knew Moss at the time explained, "When I met him, they had just broken up." 'My impression was that he always wanted to get back together with her. When it comes to girls, she's the one he talks to the most."

The relationship was "serious.

The relationship was apparently "serious," but by the time Moss was selected for the show, they had broken up.

They are still happily engaged. In Crowley's last episode, after she spent the night with Moss and told the other contestants she was leaving the show, Moss proposed to her on camera and she said yes. Moss proposed to her on camera and she said yes. True love is real.

Before the episode aired, Crawley was spotted wearing an engagement ring and attempted damage control: "People have noticed that I wear this ring on my wedding finger and asked why," she wrote on Instagram (opens in new tab)." Because the truth is, it is first and foremost a commitment to oneself, to embody self-love." Bachelor contestants and stars are not allowed engagement rings until the show airs. But yes, she has an engagement ring, and it is huge (opens in new tab).

Yes, there were rumors (opens in new tab) about Moss, but Reality Steve, who is by far the best source for all things Bachelor, kicked those rumors to the curb in a blog post (opens in new tab) (phew). Moss and Crowley have not commented on the rumors, but they may actually be married now, as Moss has been spotted wearing what looks like a wedding ring. (Open in new tab)

And Crawley and have posted some very adorable content together:

It's true love.
