Who is Liliana Bird, partner of "Great British Baking Show" host Noel Fielding?

When you think of Noel Fielding, you may think of his brilliantly patterned ensemble and bawdy mannerisms in The Great British Baking Show (opens in new tab), his recurring role as a goth living in an office basement in The IT Crowd, or his fellow comedian You may recall his equally bizarre character in the comedy troupe The Mighty Boosh with Julian Barratt, and you may be shocked to learn that Old Gregg, the comedic genius who created a YouTube sensation, has a surprisingly low-key personal life. Fielding has been dating radio DJ Liliana Byrd for almost a decade and recently had their second child together. Proving that even Britain's most famous goths are not immune to the lure of an idyllic family life.

Here's what you need to know about Byrd, herself a highly successful British media icon, and the Byrd-Fielding family.

Bird, who calls herself Birdie professionally, is a certified multifenate: radio host, podcast host, television commentator, theater producer, comedy actress, and author. He is a certified multi-talented radio host, podcast host, television commentator, theater producer, comedic actress, and author.

The 39-year-old currently hosts a Sunday evening show on the British alt-music station Radio X and appears regularly on radio stations LBC, BBC 5 Live, and BBC London. She previously hosted the podcasts "Get It Off Your Breasts" and "Geek Chic's Weird Science," the latter in 2016 with Dr. Jack Lewis and "The Mice Who Sing for Sex (And Other Weird Tales From the World of Science), which led to the writing of the book.

Outside of her work in radio, Bird, herself a former theater actress, founded a theater production company called Bird & Bee in 2009 with a friend, theater director Phoebe Barran. The company has backed productions such as Tin Horizons and The Duke of Darkness.

The two actors and presenters reportedly began dating in 2010 after Bird appeared in several episodes of the BBC Three television show The Mighty Boosh (open in new tab). She then appeared several times on both seasons of Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy. Beyond these comedy show appearances, however, the two only made occasional public appearances together during their 10-year relationship, rarely talking or posting about their relationship or family.

Byrd and Fielding gave birth to their first daughter, Dali, in April 2018. In an interview with Jonathan Ross later that year (open in new tab), Fielding praised their newborn daughter: "I don't know how this happened. She's so beautiful, she blows my mind about a hundred times a day," he said of his daughter, who is reportedly named after his favorite artist

.

And this October, Byrd acknowledged the birth of his and Fielding's second child, a daughter named Iggy, on Instagram; on October 29, Byrd, who had announced her pregnancy in another post in August, posted a photo of four spiders in the "Byrd-Fielding family" made from an old microphone cover (in new tab (opens in new tab)) was posted. When a commenter asked which spider represented each family member, Bird wrote, "Noel is pink, Dali is orange, I am gray, and Iggy is red," officially confirming Iggy's birth and announcing his name.

Honestly, I don't know what's more surprising: learning that Fielding is a father of two or that he recently revealed on "The Great British Baking Show" (opens in new tab) that he is 47 years old (!) Oh, to be able to pass on his children's genes.
