Julia Michaels has a knack for looking well rested.
Singer/songwriter Julia Michaels (open in new tab) has been busy. Her illustrious career includes writing hit songs for celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, and Selena Gomez. She recently released the first track from her upcoming album, "Lie Like This (opens in new tab)." In addition to releasing cult songs, Michaels is also known for her love of makeup and beauty, and in the latest episode of Marie Claire's "Masked and Answered," she shares her favorite products and how they make you think you slept well all night long .
For a relaxing masking routine, Michaels reached for a skyn ICELAND classic. Under the eyes, she used the brand's Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gel (opens in new tab). For the smile lines, she used skyn ICELAND's Hydro Cool Firming Face Gels (opens in new tab), and for the neck, Hydro Cool Firming Neck Gels (opens in new tab).
Michaels' Instagram posts some truly stunning makeup, but she is really a fan of skin care. In one of her videos, she says, "I don't wear a lot of makeup, but I do wear a lot of makeup for when I want to have fun." Her most radical skin care treatment ""I've had quite a few extractions before, and those were the most painful things I've ever experienced. I wouldn't want to be my worst enemy.
Another of Michaels' regular skin care products is Augustinus Bader the Cream (open in new tab) moisturizer. She says, "It's a little expensive, but it really moisturizes my face." For her internal health, Michaels subscribes to Care/of (opens in new tab) daily vitamins. She also uses ice packs as part of her morning routine. I like to put it on in the morning when I'm swollen or hungover," she says. Or a hangover. It makes me look like I've had a good night's sleep, even though I only slept for 25 minutes."
