24 hours with Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty

Welcome to Beauty Around the Clock, Marie Claire's weekly peek into the daily lives of the most influential women in their industries. How do these women get their work done in a day?

Huda Kattan is busy. In addition to running her company and providing swoon-worthy beauty tutorials to her millions of Instagram (opens in new tab) followers and YouTube (opens in new tab) subscribers, Kattan is creating products nonstop. The latest addition to Kattan's stable of cult-favorite products is her first brow pencil, dubbed #BombBrows (opens in new tab). Below, the Dubai-based entrepreneur shares a few behind-the-scenes looks at her beauty icon, how she manages her overbooked schedule, and her glamorous life.

I try to get up at 6:30 a.m. most days of the week, weather permitting. I'm a big fan of detoxing. My body goes through a lot of processes while I sleep. I pray in the morning. I've been a little naughty lately. I've been a little naughty lately.

I used to just splash water on my face in the morning. But as I got older, my skin got drier, and I realized that constant hydration was really good for me.

I eat the same thing every morning: 40 grams of oatmeal with coconut milk and cinnamon. Then I eat berries. I love berries. I'm a huge fruitarian. I want to be a fruitarian. I think that's the way it is. I would live on fruit if I could.

I love the glam look. I love a good beat. It's funny because I go from being like a boss bitch on a mission to rule the world to being like, "I'm a boss bitch on a mission to rule the world. Then I started thinking, "Okay, time to play with makeup." To be a playful huda. Then I become super glam. So that side of me is more glamorous and it's always with me, even when I'm doing other things. Liner (opens in new tab), #bomb brows (opens in new tab), foundation (opens in new tab). I also like a nice lip. I like sexy lips. Lipliner (opens in new tab) is really important to me. I don't spend a lot of time on beauty every day, every morning. It really depends on my mood. I would love to, but I don't.

I love to multitask. So when I'm on the treadmill or walking, I'm listening to an audiobook or podcast or sending voice notes. I feel like in those moments when I'm moving my body on the treadmill, I'm nourishing my mind and sharing my motivation and positivity with my team.

Depends on my mood. Anything from Beyonce to Mozart.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer (opens in new tab)

I'm obsessed with Deja Vu (opens in new tab). [My sister] Mona made it, and at first I didn't like it. Then... It's the only perfume that I've actually gone through several bottles of. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. It's a nice scent.

I cannot go to bed without taking a hot bath or hot shower. I often go to bed with my hair wet. Because my hair gets very cold. I don't freeze all night, but it does help me fall asleep. I like to do that because I've read a lot about sleep and found that it helps me sleep (going to bed with cold hair). Yes, I'm not as glamorous as everyone thinks I am.
