To kick off Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, which recognizes the significant contributions and achievements of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community in the United States, cultural nonprofit Gold House today released its annual "A100 List." This year's list supports the COVID-19 vaccine education campaign "We Can Do This" (opens in new tab). The honorees span all cultural categories, each leading influential efforts to help uplift the community and reshape public opinion in light of the recent surge of anti-Asian attacks.

Vice President Kamala Harris, Academy Award-winning director of the groundbreaking Nomadland Chloe Zhao (opens in new tab), tennis champion Naomi Osaka, Padma Lakshmi, Gemma Chan, Olivia Munn, Black Pink, Saweetie, H.E.R. and more, There are many bold names that are easily recognizable. There is also journalist and activist Kimmy Yang (opens in new tab), Dion Lim (opens in new tab), Lisa Lin (opens in new tab), Benny Luo (opens in new tab), and Sehwan Kim (opens in new tab). Plus, there are behind-the-scenes industry heavyweights who can make your life a little easier as you suffer through the pandemic: Katrina Lake, founder and former CEO of Stitchfix; Eric S. Yuan, founder and CEO of Zoom; Allen Sim, CFO of Slack; Netflix's Global TV Head Bella Bajaria, and Pfizer's Angela Hwang, among others.
