Outdoor Voice updates exercise dress.
When the original exercise dress from OUTDOOR VOICES (opens in new tab) launched in 2018, it was a game changer. The stretchy fabric, built-in shorts, and fun colors and prints were an instant hit, and the design received tons of 5-star reviews. Now, three years after its debut, the brand has made some serious upgrades in response to customer feedback.
Exercise Dress 2.0 is now available! The new version, which went on sale Friday (there was a 5,000-person wait), has adjustable straps and not one but two pockets on the shorts for cell phones and card slots. And as a lover of the original dress, the lining of the shorts tends to bunch up when sitting or walking around. This means that I no longer have to reach under the dress and awkwardly pull all the fabric down.
There are a total of nine colors. Navy, black, white, green, purple, pink, light blue, yellow, and leopard print, each in sizes XS to XL. Basically, think of them as new and improved versions of the workout dresses you wear all the time, for the same price of $100. Considering how much you wear it, it pays for itself. The style is practical for workouts and sports (tennis (open in new tab), anyone?) and cute enough to wear on its own with white sneakers and a cute bag, so it's very versatile... OV has made summer dressing much better, and I've been wearing it for a while now.
