Unsurprisingly, Lindsey Ellingson is a major player.

Welcome to Beauty Around the Clock, Marie Claire's weekly peek into the daily lives of the most influential women in their industries. How do these women manage to get through the day's work?

For Lindsey Ellingson (opens in new tab), co-founder of Wonder Beauty (opens in new tab), getting into the beauty space was less than stellar. The supermodel has walked the runway, graced billboards and magazine covers. Last year, she added "mom" to her list of titles and expanded her commitment to mindfulness and focus on staying healthy. Here's how she gets it all done in 24 hours.

I have an early riser, a one-year-old, who gets up at 6 a.m. every day. I like to get up a few minutes before Carter wakes up and make a to-do list for the day over coffee.

Convenience is important to me as a new mom, so I gravitate toward quick, healthy breakfasts like yogurt with granola and fruit. I also keep homemade overnight oats in the fridge. Coffee is a must for me, and I only have one cup, switching to iced tea later in the day. I love adding vanilla almond milk creamer to my coffee and look forward to it every morning.

In the morning, I start with CeraVe's Hydrating Micellar Water (opens in new tab). It's great to use when I don't have makeup on and just want a quick cleanse. I suffer from hyperpigmentation, so next I apply Wander Beauty's Sight C-er Vitamin C Concentrate (opens in new tab) to brighten the skin and fight off free radicals that can damage the skin. For hydration, I use Wander Beauty's Dive In Moisturizer (opens in new tab). It is an incredibly lightweight formula with an ingredient called Pentavitin that provides 72 hours of hydration. I love that it leaves my skin glowing all day long. Finally, I always wear sunscreen, and right now I'm loving Eleven's Unlibrated Sun Serum (opens in a new tab), created by Venus Williams.

I like to keep my routine fresh and effortless, so I rely on some multi-tasking to get me ready each morning. I always start with my eyebrows. I think brows are the most important feature on the face and the right shape instantly adds youthfulness. I use Wander Beauty's Frame Your Face Micro Brow Pencil (opens in new tab). I love how the micro-tip hair-like strokes are so natural and stay in place all day long. Next, I perfect my complexion with Dualist Matte and Illuminating Concealer (opens in new tab). What I love about these two formulas is that they cover everything from dark circles to blemishes. My holy grail mascara is Unlashed Volume & Curl (opens in new tab). I love the curved brush because it flutters and curls my lashes and allows me to layer the formula without clumping. To finish off my look, I use Double Date Lip & Cheek (opens in new tab). It's the perfect pinky nude and gives my skin a healthy glow.

I wash my hair at night and use the Reverie Milk anti-frizz leave-in treatment (opens in new tab) so I go to bed with damp hair. I love the texture of my hair in the morning when I get in bed. It makes styling so much easier and no styling tools are needed. If I want more texture, I use Oribe's Matte Wave Texturizing Lotion (opens in a new tab) to bind my hair. For a refresher, use Sam McNight's Lazy Girl Dry Shampoo (open in new tab). A good trick is to apply it: let it absorb the oil, then brush it out.

Most work days I am in the office with the Wonder Beauty team. In the morning we have a team meeting to share updates on upcoming projects and then we go into a product development meeting. I fell in love with beauty during my modeling days and absorbed a lot of information about formulas and makeup application. I love coming up with new formulation concepts and testing them. I love working collectively towards a common goal because it's so much fun.

Next, I work in the studio, shooting all the content needed for our product launches. I've been having a lot of fun behind the camera lately, and I love bringing the products we create to life; at the end of the day, I'm catching up on emails and retouching content that has deadlines; at the end of the day, I'm working on the product launch, and I'm always looking for new ideas and new ways to make it better.

I don't have much time for myself these days, but I do carve out some time for myself in the evenings when my son is in bed and I like to put on Wander Beauty's Baggage Claim Eye Masks (opens in a new tab) and do my nails. It's a great way to relax and do something for yourself after a long day.

During quarantine, I tried many online fitness classes. My favorite is "Ballet Beautiful" by Mary Helen Bowers (opens in new tab). She trained me for a year for a Victoria's Secret show. As a former dancer, I love feeling like a ballerina again. I work out a few times a week while my son is napping. I have also resumed taking live Pilates classes and love the energy and motivation I feel in the group classes.

Gabby Bernstein's guided meditations (opens in new tab) are very helpful, especially for meditation beginners like me. I used her meditation when I was trying to conceive.

I love following makeup artists on Instagram. My favorites are Pati Dubroff, Katie Jane Hughes, and Carolina Gonzalez.

I love Kitsch's Ice Roller (opens in new tab).

As soon as I get home from work, I go back to being my favorite mom. While my husband cooks dinner, I read to Carter and get him ready for bed. As soon as Carter goes to bed, she eats, listens to stories, and then relaxes by watching a good TV series.

At night, I cleanse with Wonder Beauty's Drift Away Cleanser (opens in new tab). It contains coconut-derived surfactants, so it is very gentle on the skin, yet removes all traces of makeup. Next, I use Dr. Loretta's Micro Peel Peptide Pads (opens in new tab), which contain 10% glycolic acid. I discovered this brand when I was pregnant, and I love the fact that it is a 100% clean formula that treats my skin all night long. [The last thing I do before bed is listen to a podcast. There is something so calming about it that I set my sleep timer and usually fall asleep within a few minutes.
