Nia Dennis, the phenomenal gymnast known for her Floore routine (you may know her from her much talked about routine celebrating black culture (open in new tab)), will literally be at the 2021 Met Gala with a marching band, specifically joined the Brooklyn United Marching Band. Basically, the coolest thing I've ever seen: according to E! News, she wore a Stella McCartney x Adidas blue bodysuit and literally performed routines like flips and splits on the entrance steps. What a great way to start an event."

She danced to an instrumental version of "New York" by Alicia Keys. She posted a glittery boomerang in the outfit on Stories (open in new tab) with the caption, "All the rumors are true." Fans were delighted: "Nia Dennis told Jason Derulo what he should have done when he fell down the stairs at the #MetGala," wrote Jarrett Wieselman (opens in new tab).
