Time flies. We all know that, but there are still things that surprise us. Take, for example, Krista B. Allen, who played 13-year-old Jennifer Garner (open in new tab) in the 2004 cult romance film 13 Going on 30. That Allen, unfortunately, has officially turned 30.

To mark the occasion, Allen, now a successful TikToker (opens in new tab), cleverly used the plot of the film to release a five-part video entitled "Vienna," in which her current self meets her 13-year-old self. In part two of this video, Allen's younger self also points out some truths about the box into which "13 Going on 30" tried to fit women (opens in new tab). She writes: " When I started my TikTok journey two years ago, I had no idea how much people would love the '13 Going on 30' content." After several videos went viral, fans asked for sequels by the hundreds. This short series 'Vienna' is more of a response than a sequel."
