Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2022: Favorite Looks
There is no better inspiration than the streets of Paris. Fashion may be an afterthought in these uncertain times, but there is no greater unifying force than the creation and appreciation of beautiful pieces. At Dior, trenches were woven like armor and voluminous maxi skirts peeked out from feminine peplum blazers and capes. In keeping with tradition, the Saint Laurent show was held under the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower. The collection featured tuxedo blazers and slinky floor-length dresses that gave the impression of 90s cool. At Dries Van Noten, exaggerated shoulder silhouettes were accompanied by a rich jewel-like color palette, and drapey fabrics looked like masterpieces.
