Ultimatum" Season 1: Everything We Know

Are you feeling drama fatigue after Season 2 of Love is Blind, Netflix's newest dating show, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, hosted by husband-and-wife team Nick and Vanessa Lachey! (Bachelor fans, let's let go of our pearls.)

In the first season of the new series, six couples who have been together for years face the same problem: Over the course of eight weeks, the couples must decide whether to get married or break up, while also getting a chance to see how a trial marriage would work! The following is the "Ultimatum. Here is everything we know about "Ultimatum.

Unlike "Love is Blind," which is released weekly in batches, the bulk of "The Ultimatum" will be delivered in one fell swoop. The first eight episodes will be available on Netflix on April 6, with the finale and reunion on April 13.

This initial delivery will ensure that there will be enough episodes to spread out viewing so that people will not have to wait too long for the finale. However, if Ultimatum spoilers hit Twitter at the same pace as LiB spoilers, one might as well take a day to watch the whole thing.

Netflix dropped an official teaser at the end of the "Love is Blind" season 2 reunion upon the show's announcement; the two-minute clip focuses on the matchmaking portion of the show, creating a "Love Island" vibe on an urban rooftop. Of course, it also includes a participant pointing out how odd it is to see one's partner dating another.

The new dating show combines the relationship difficulties of shows like "Love Island" with the forced cohabitation of "Love is Blind," and as Netflix's official description reads, "An ultimatum is issued, and in just over eight weeks, you must either commit to marriage or move on. In the meantime, each will have the life-changing opportunity to choose a new potential partner from among other couples and glimpse two different possible futures.

The six couples will have a set amount of time, eight weeks, to decide whether to marry or move on. To add urgency to their choice, the participants will interact with each other, date each other, and ultimately choose a new partner for a trial marriage. As Nick Lashay says in the teaser, the purpose of living with a new partner for three weeks is to see other possibilities besides their current partner, as "there may be someone who is a better fit."

Speaking of the Lashays, LiB hosts Nick and Vanessa Lashay will also be hosting Ultimatum, a change from hosting the season 2 reunion. (Who else is now a fan of Vanessa's?) Hopefully there will be more than enough drama for a similarly explosive reunion in Ultimatum.

Netflix has yet to reveal the six couples featured in the teaser, but there are plenty of scenes and voiceovers that introduce some of the dilemmas they face. At the beginning of the clip, one hesitant girlfriend tells a man, "The only thing I fear more than losing you now is marrying you."

Later, as the experiment progresses, some changes are heard among the participants. One male cast member says, "I'm starting to see a lot of what I want in a relationship." I thought that if I gave Jake an ultimatum, we would get together. I thought that if I gave Jake an ultimatum, we would get together. Of course, there are no hints as to which couples are breaking up or which couples are staying together. All will become clear on April 6.
