Zendaya has been known to block the red carpet with killer looks, and the 2022 Oscars were no different. The "Spider-Man" and "Resound! Euphoria" stars, she showed off her soft updo on the biggest night in film, proving that it is a timeless Hollywood hairstyle.

"This style suits Zendaya because it accentuates her gorgeous neckline, showcases her stunning features, and complements her gown," says celebrity hairstylist Antoinette Hill.

Hill says she created the stunning look in six easy steps:

First, Hill prepped Zendaya's hair by adding an 18-inch Hidden Crown clip-in (opens in new tab) throughout the hair. Next, she used Joico's BlondeLife Powder Lightener (opens in new tab), combining the two formulas for the perfect shade and a bit of dimension. Hill then applied TRESemmé One Step Volume Mist (opens in new tab) to the roots of Zendaya's hair to add volume.

To add volume to the top of Zendaya's head, Hill used T3 AireBrush Duo (opens in new tab) with a round brush attachment and added TRESemmé Keratin Shine Serum (opens in new tab) throughout for smoothness and shine. Next, Hill added three Hidden Crown clip-ins to the back of her hair and secured them with a soft elastic band and hairpins. As a final step, Hill sprayed her hair with TRESemmé Total Volume Hair Spray (opens in new tab) for long-lasting lift and hold.

If you're trying to create this showstopper look at home, fear not, it's easier than it looks. 'It's easy to recreate Zendaya's hairstyle at home,' says Hill. 'All you need is the right products, like a volumizing hairspray and an easy-to-use hot tool. It's also important to place hair loosely between the middle and back of the head. Then just a few short strands around the perimeter to add softness around the face"

While this look is definitely one of our favorites, this is not the first time the duo has collaborated to create magic. Last year, Hill helped Zendaya debut jumbo box braids at the CFDA Awards.
