Every once in a while, there is a moment that turns recent red carpet fashion history on its head. And for me, the latest of such moments has appeared.

Nicola Coughlan, star of "Bridgerton" and "Delhi Girls," arrived at the BAFTA TV Awards in London in a stunning Valentino outfit. Coughlan chose a Barbie pink floor-length gown with a regal A-line skirt that hung down from one shoulder and was adorned with large bows and ruffles. My words can't do this dress justice, so you'll have to see for yourself:

The actress wore her blonde shoulder-length hair side-parted and tousled, and finished with a fresh-faced, spring-ready makeup in shades of pink. She accessorized with diamond drop earrings.

During the evening, Coughlan also posed with "Sex Education" star Nukuti Gatwa, who has just been announced for the BBC's upcoming "Doctor Who" (opens in new tab). He will be the show's first black Doctor. Gatwa also wore the perfect outfit: a cutout black suit jacket that exposed part of his chest and a black leather skirt with fringe.
