She is also a nonsensical and loyal friend, and filmed a scene in which she says the contractor is an "idiot" while tearing down her own closet wall. Xie, a Chinese-American high-tech heiress, is a former equestrian champion and fashion influencer who attends events around the world. Raised in Silicon Valley, she got into fashion as a teenager and shows off her sense of style on her Instagram and YouTube unboxing channel (opens in new tab) At 24, she is also the youngest member of the Bring Empire crew.
Chan is a businesswoman and heir to a denim empire. Hinting on the show that her mother wanted a more traditional life, she gave up her music career and now shares two children, 5-year-old Jadore and 2-year-old Jevon, with her longtime partner Jesse Lee, who works for the family furniture company.
The storyline in Season 1 depicted her pregnancy with Jevon and her grief after her mother's death. She also successfully made a surprise proposal to Lee, whom she was dating at the time.
