Duchess Camilla poses with her Jack Russell terrier on her 75th birthday.

Camilla Parker Bowles, like many British women (including Kate Middleton and the Queen herself), loves dogs and horses.

The Duchess of Cornwall is a longtime Royal Patron of the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and welcomed her adorable rescue pets, Jack Russell Terriers Beth and Bluebell, from the home.

So it is very fitting that the Duchess posed with one of her beloved dogs, Beth, on her 75th birthday. The photo, taken by official Getty Royal photographer Chris Jackson, was posted on Clarence House's Instagram page on July 17.

"Many kind messages and best wishes to the Duchess of Cornwall on her 75th birthday!" the caption reads.

Beth and Bluebell are accustomed to posing for the camera; in 2021, the two dogs appeared in a campaign for Battersea, whose photo was posted on Instagram by Clarence House.

"Bluebell and Beth, the Duchess of Cornwall's rescue dogs, proudly show off their Wear Blue for Rescue bandanas in support of @battersea's new campaign," they wrote.

"The rescue movement celebrates all the wonderful pets that need a second chance. [The Duchess adopted both Beth and Bluebell from @battersea Dogs & Cats Home, a charity that has rehomed over 3 million animals since its founding in 1860. The Duchess is a Royal Patron of @battersea.

Prior to her birthday, the Duchess hosted a Battersea 160th anniversary party at Clarence House, where she met many more adorable dogs. They are very well matched.
