Meghan Markle's 7 words to her boyfriend about Prince Harry after their first date

In the summer of 2016, Meghan Markle was an actress on the hit show Suits, but when it came to talking about her first date with her girlfriend, Meghan was smitten and eager to spill, just like we are when everything goes right.

In Tom Bower's new book, Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors), the future Duchess of Sussex said seven words that epitomize her first impression of Prince Harry.

These are the words that Meghan allegedly said to her talent manager and friend Gina Nelthorpe-Cowen the morning after Harry and Meghan's first date in London, set up by their mutual friend Violet von Westenholz, Bower wrote. Meghan and Nelthorpe-Cown dissected their date the night before and were like "excited teenagers," he writes.

"Meeting Harry on July 1, 2016 was a pivotal moment for Megan," Bower wrote. 'At nearly 35, she told Gina that her biological clock was ticking. She wanted children. If they got together, she could fulfill her ambition of becoming a global celebrity."

When Megan goofed off to Nelthorpe-Counne, Nelthorpe-Counne asked, "Will you see me again?"

and asked, "Will you see me again?

"I hope so. We parted on good terms."

By the end of their conversation, Nelthorpe-Cowne was sharing Megan's palpable excitement.

Later, over lunch, Meghan told Nelthorpe-Kaune that she was going on a second date with Harry.

According to Bower, "He's really nice," she sighed.

Sixteen months later, Harry and Meghan announced their engagement in November 2017. In an interview that coincided with the announcement, Meghan said, "We met for a drink and then immediately said, 'Well, what are we going to do tomorrow?' I think we said, "We'll see each other again."

By the end of that second date, Harry said on his friend James Corden's "The Late Late Show" that he knew she was the one and that they went from "zero to 60" within weeks of dating.

"By the second date, I was starting to think, 'Wow, this is pretty special,'" Harry said. 'It wasn't where we went, we just clicked with each other. We were very comfortable in each other's presence."

After a series of dates in London, they went on an outing to Botswana together, and Harry revealed in a speech at the United Nations this week that he knew Meghan was his soulmate.

"Every date with me or any other member of the royal family gets turned upside down," he told Corden. 'All our dates are either dinner or watching TV or chatting at home, and then when we become a couple we venture out to dinner or the cinema. With us, everything was done back and forth. So we spent far more time alone together than we did going to friends' houses."[32

Both seemed infatuated from the start.
