Kate Middleton reveals her secret code name

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, like many public figures, apparently have code names they use while traveling to keep their comings and goings out of the public eye. According to the Express, Kate Middleton is known as Daphne Clarke and Prince William as Danny Collins.

However, according to the Mirror, Daphne Clarke is not Kate's only alias; Kate accidentally divulged this code name during a shopping trip in Wales.

According to the Sun, Kate was living in a cottage on Anglesey Island at the time, and William was a search and rescue pilot with the nearby Valley Air Force. Kate visited a local watersports store, where she found a wetsuit she wanted to buy. The clerk, Dave Buckland, for some reason did not recognize Kate and asked her to pick up the wetsuit and come back later to buy it. Kate left the name "Mrs. Cambridge."

"He looked straight at her and actually commented that it was a pretty unusual last name," a source told the Mail on Sunday of the incident. 'He had no idea who she was. She just smiled and said she would be back. He hasn't been able to forget that since."

Prince George, William and Kate's eldest son, also once gave a stranger a false name. According to The Sun, George was out with his grandmother Carol Middleton and sister Princess Charlotte when a dog walker saw the children playing in a creek near the Middletons' home in Berkshire.

"The police warden told me not to take pictures of the children, so I didn't, but then George started petting my dog," the woman said. 'We made small talk, just to be friendly, and I asked George what his name was. To my surprise, he said with a big smile, 'It's Archie. I don't know why he calls himself Archie, but kids often play with their names.

This is interesting regardless of when it happened, but it is especially noteworthy that it happened before George's uncle Prince Harry and aunt Meghan Markle welcomed Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor in May 2019, when George will be almost six years old! That is.

"It is not known whether it (Archie) was George's family nickname or just a pseudonym," the Sun reported.

Hmmm... What makes me think
