Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are helping to "heal the rift" with the Sussex family: royal expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had difficult relationships with many of the British royals recently, but thankfully they remain close to their cousins, the Duke of Sussex.

Zara Tindall was one of the only royals spotted interacting with the Sussexes in public during the June Jubilee weekend, and the California-based royal is famously close with the York sisters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

"The fact that the York sisters have a good relationship with Harry and Meghan may be very beneficial to the monarchy," royal expert Richard Fitzwilliam told the Express.

"It may help that we don't know the details, but healing the rift is best done quietly."

Fitzwilliams previously explained that Eugenie, who lives at the Sussexes' Frogmore Cottage in Windsor,

helped organize things for their trip to the UK.

"It is very likely that Princess Eugenie, who is good friends with them, was involved in that."

This is not the first time either or both of the York sisters have been lauded as "peacekeepers," and The Sun has previously used the term to refer more specifically to Eugenie.

Harry and Eugenie's sweet bond was on display when they attended the Super Bowl together in February.

"Although his face is covered by a mask, you can still see that they are engaged, and there was a moment when he showed genuine emotion as he sat alongside his cousin Eugenie," body language expert Darren Stanton previously wrote in a football game's He told "Marie Claire" about their interaction.

"There is no denying that there is a strong bond between the two royals. This familiarity is evident in the fact that both Harry and Eugenie seem completely at home around each other."

The two have also been seen together at the football game.

Their friendship is clearly a lovely one.
