Prince William and Kate Middleton deny that Prince George will be King?
Prince George, who just turned nine a week ago today, knows that he is third in line to the throne and will one day become king. But his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are keen not to make a big deal about it, the Mirror reports.
"William struggled [with knowing his fate] when he was young.
"George understands the order of succession to the throne and knows that one day he will be king, but he also knows it's a long way off. I don't make it a big issue."[4
In honor of his ninth birthday last week, his mother Kate released a photo of the future king. And George has attended his great-grandfather Prince Philip's memorial service in March with his parents (and often his sister Princess Charlotte), attended his grandmother the Queen's platinum jubilee celebrations in June on numerous occasions (including a walk in Cardiff, Wales), and most recently earlier this month, his parents and made their first appearance at Wimbledon together, they have made more public appearances recently than ever before. According to Nicole, William and Kate are carefully choosing which events to take George to.
"He's not as outgoing or outgoing as his sister and brother, but he seems very comfortable taking on a few public duties," she says.
"The commitments that William and Kate have brought him to are ones that George feels comfortable with."
George is far from becoming king.
