Prince Harry's memoir finally has a release date?

From the Duke of Sussex, best wishes! The release date for Prince Harry's upcoming memoir has finally been set, and it could be the perfect holiday present for the royal followers (and let's be honest, even those who aren't royal followers will be at least a little intrigued) around you.

According to Tatler, Harry's "intimate and heartfelt" memoir will debut this winter, just in time for the Thanksgiving and Christmas gift markets. According to the magazine, the "definitive" manuscript of Harry's "experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons" is complete, has been signed by his attorney, and will go entirely by system from here.

According to The Sun, the manuscript for the book was submitted this summer by ghostwriter J.R. Moehringer.

"The manuscript is complete and has gone through all legal procedures. The manuscript is complete and out of Harry's hands."

The memoir was originally scheduled to be released this fall, but "the publication date was pushed back once, but is now scheduled for the end of the year," sources say.

Harry's publisher, Penguin Random House, broke the news of the memoir in July 2021. Harry plans to donate the proceeds of the memoir to charity and said of the book, "I'm writing it as the prince I was born to be, not as the prince I am now." He continued, "I hope that by telling my story - the peaks and valleys, the mistakes and lessons learned - I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think," and that this life story is "accurate and completely true.

According to Penguin Random House, the book will cover his life in the public eye from childhood to the present. The book will touch on "his dedicated service, his military service that took him to the front lines in Afghanistan twice, and the joy he found in being a husband and father."

The book, whose title has not yet been released, will be published in print and digital editions, with an audiobook version to be released simultaneously by Penguin Random House Audio. Ghostwriter Mohlinger is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who previously worked on tennis star Andre Agassi's memoir.
