Meghan Markle's 10 Beauty Looks

Meghan Markle's 10 Beauty Looks

When we think royal beauty, we think Meghan Markle. Her low bun is undeniably chic, her sense of lipstick is A+++ (she's a Charlotte Tilbury fan), and her soft yet presentable makeup will forever reign at the top of our inspiration board. So, in honor of the Duchess of Sussex's 41st birthday, we took the liberty of going through her beauty looks from the past few decades and pulled out the best of the best. From her "Suits" days of laid-back, understated glamour to her sophisticated, sleek looks today, Meghan's hair and makeup have evolved since she first stepped into the spotlight.

Over the years, Princess Meghan has shared with us her favorite beauty products. When it comes to skincare, she mixes high and low: in interviews with Allure, Birchbox (open in new tab), and Glamour, she has shared her obsession with brands like Nivea, Chapstick, and Tatcha. On the "makeup side," she is a big fan of Yves Saint Laurent concealer, Nars blush, Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, and of course, Charlotte Tilbury, which she wore on her wedding day. Take a look back at the royal family's best beauty looks to date.

While royal engagements have been kept to a minimum in recent years, Princess Meghan headed to the UK earlier this year to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. For the main outing, she leaned on all pink tones and went over-the-top (in the best way possible) with her blush.

Princess Meghan prefers neutral colors, but for the 2020 Commonwealth Service, she incorporated a pop of color. That pop carried over to her mouth, where she wore a pinky mauve lip for the occasion. Her hair was also more sophisticated than usual, pulled back into a low chignon.

Pregnant with Archie in 2019, Markle stepped out for the royal engagement with her hair in an all too perfect bun. Not a single strand of hair was out of place or popping out.

The Duchess went a bit more glam for her first official engagement to Queen Elizabeth. She elaborated on blush and bronzer.

For the 2018 Wimbledon Tennis Championships, the royal wore her hair in a customary messy bun. Her bangs were tastefully tucked behind her ears, but the overall vibe was easy and breezy. We also applaud her eyebrows, which were a nice touch.

Makeup artist Daniel Martin revealed that the Duchess used Charlotte Tilbury's Matte Revolution Lipstick in Very Victoria for the big day. He also reportedly used several Dior and Honest Beauty products to create her very natural, barely there look.

This was the beginning of her royal era; for her engagement announcement to Prince Harry in 2017, Markle went for a more sophisticated beauty look. Most notably, she ditched the side parting for a center parting. Her hair was also straightened.

At the season 5 premiere of Suits, Markle rocked an early iteration of the now iconic messy bun. At the time, side-parts and Bambooits were all the rage. In terms of makeup, she played with peachy tones, and if you *really* zoom in close, you'll notice that her lash line features a slightly smoky gray glow.

Markle usually gravitates toward pink tones, but for the 2015 CFDA Awards she opted for a nude lip. There was very little blush and contour. However, her lashes were insanely long, which was apparently thanks to her favorite Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara.

Back in 2013, just two years after the premiere of Suits, the former actress wore her hair in a *deep* side part at a USA Network event. As for texture," Markle has previously revealed that Oribe's Dry Texturizing Spray is her secret weapon.
