Yesterday would have been Meghan Markle's 41st birthday. According to information obtained exclusively by Us Weekly, Meghan not only read Happy Birthday messages from members of the royal family, but also went on her next trip around the sun with "family and dear friends."

"Meghan Markle is spending her 41st birthday in the best way possible: with the people she loves most," the magazine reported.

A representative for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told Us, "The Duchess is spending her birthday this year having a wonderful time with family and dear friends." That probably means spending quality time with husband Prince Harry and children Archie and Lili, and perhaps even mother Doria Ragland.

It is also unclear what friends attended the celebration, but Harry told Today's Hoda Kotb in an interview in April that the United States felt like home to him and that he was "welcomed with open arms and Santa Barbara, California, has a great community," he said.

Harry, who celebrated his fourth wedding anniversary this year, proved just a few weeks ago that despite all obstacles, their love remains strong. In a speech in honor of Nelson Mandela Day at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Duke of Sussex called Meghan his "soul mate."
