Doja Cat, shaved off her hair and eyebrows.
[pink wig, blonde bangs, micro-mullet. But on Thursday, August 4, the "Get Into It" singer made the decision to shave her head, and eyebrows, on Instagram Live. 'I feel like I shouldn't have had hair anyway,' she told her 24 million followers. 'I never liked having hair. Since the beginning of my life, I've never thought, 'This is cool.' I never liked having hair."The Grammy winner, who is "obsessed" with her new look, went on to say that her decision to shave her hair was born out of years of frustration with the layers of real hair, wigs, and glue on her head. She said, "I remember being so exhausted when I was working out. ...... I was working out and I couldn't concentrate because I was worried about how I looked, what my hair looked like, how it was adhering to my scalp," she said on the live stream. 'It would slip out. I even wore a beanie. I once wore a beanie over a wig cap that I wore over my braids. I can't believe it took me this long to shave my head."
Dodja Cat also added that this decision made the most sense to her because she rarely wears her hair natural. 'I don't grow my hair long. You guys have seen me grow my hair long. You've seen me straighten my hair. There was a time when I had natural hair, but now I'm not in the mood for it, so I don't even go natural. It's a nightmare. I'm over it. I really like it. If you don't cut your hair, what's the point of having hair?" She said.
A handful of fans took to Twitter following Dodger Cat's Instagram Live to share their thoughts on the singer's new look. 'Love that Dodger Cat shaved her hair. She looks more confident now that she's shaved her hair. Love this for her," one fan account wrote. Others chastised those who criticized Dja's decision, pointing out that her choice to shave her head was entirely her own. Most importantly, Dja "has never felt so happy."
